| Extended Tech Inspection (ETI) Redding Drag Strip is
offering Extended Tech Inspections (ETI) in 2006 during Summit Racing Series E.T. Bracket
races and Test-N-Tune. A serialized ETI sticker will be issued for qualifying
racecars.
ETI stickers are valid for one-year from date of issue unless a piece of equipment
expires before then. For example, if a sticker is issued in January, but the safety belts
expire in June, the sticker will only be valid until June. If the expired piece of
equipment is replaced and checked by a tech inspector, a new sticker will be issued that
will be valid through the following January. It is the racer's responsibility to
notify the tech inspector of any changes to their vehicle after an ETI sticker is issued.
You must be a NHRA member and have a NHRA License if quicker than 9.99, or NHRA
Competition number if you run 10.00 or slower. There is no fee for the ETI.
Here is a sample of the ETI form which will be completed so you may familiarize
yourself with the required data prior to your inspection.
